What we are
We are an independent publisher covering ibogaine and iboga: what the evidence supports, what it does not, and what carries real risk. Think of it as the reference desk the field never built. Every efficacy answer is graded by how much science stands behind it, and every medical or legal claim is cited to a primary source, not to a clinic's marketing page.
What we are not
We are not a clinic, a broker, or a treatment referral service, and we do not sell ibogaine or anything else. We take no payment from clinics for coverage, ranking or placement. When we mention a clinic, it is editorial. Nothing on this site is medical advice, and no page here can substitute for a physician who knows your history.
Why independence matters here
Ibogaine sits in a rare gap: it is a genuinely promising early treatment, it is also genuinely dangerous, and almost all the information about it is published by people who profit from you booking treatment. That conflict shapes what gets emphasized and what gets left out. An independent voice that has nothing to sell can say the uncomfortable parts plainly: that most advertised uses have no evidence, that the cardiac risk is real, and that some marketed uses are dangerous. That is the entire value of this site.
Our standards
We follow a simple set of rules on every page: grade the evidence, cite the primary source with a date, never repeat a study we cannot verify, never overclaim, and always carry the cardiac, legal and "not medical advice" caveats where they belong. Our full approach is on the methodology page, and our medical-review policy is on the medical review page.
